Contemporary Artist
"Wendy has always been a creative, studying Art and Graphic Design in the Mid-eighties on the South Coast. Her career has spanned from Design Studios, to in-house artist for National newspapers, and onto mainstream Education. A few years ago, she decided to focus on her own art and become an active independent artist. Being a dedicated dog owner, she started with Pet Portraits, which she loves and will happily do on request. She is also a keen gardener, and her most recent paintings are inspired by her very own tropical plants indoors and outdoors in her garden. Her style has been influenced by her early training and gives a contemporary graphic aesthetic, concentrating on colour and composition. She has exhibited at The Sussex Contemporary, Brighton's Liberation Gallery, Pretty Neat Gallery, Ditchling and Lindfield Arts Festival."
